SAD**** Branama Crooner Kefee is Dead

It had been reported that she was in a coma some weeks back. Sad She never got out of it. 
The late singer died with a six month pregnancy with the foetus also lost. She reportedly died due to some complications which started on a 14-hour flight to Chicago, but went into coma, which forced the plane to land in Los Angeles so she could be urgently attended to. 

Her management/family is yet to make any official statement but condolence messages have started pouring in. She gave up the ghost in the wee hours of today. 
RIP Kefee. 

SHOCKING!!! BOWEN UNIVERSITY NOW HAS A PRISON SYSTEM FOR PUNISHING ITS STUDENT

Before I go on with reporting this gist, i'd like to state that the authenticity has not yet been confirmed but going by what my sources, 2 Bowen students who claimed to have been victims (prisoners) of this new prison-punishment system which has been introduced by the school management had said, They said the new means of punishing offending students is to lock them up for a vital portion of the day,    then have them make statements before they are released and given a date to face the Student Disciplinary Committee (SDC) panel to defend themselves.
The students are now requesting they be also given a right to an attorney who would stand in for them since everything is now going "standardised". What do you think about this development by the school? Is this the form of punishment parents envisioned and signed for, for their offending wards or this just someone's joke?

Hmm.. Married woman cheats to keep mind off husband's philandering nature

This married woman who was caught a couple of weeks back by her sister inlaw at an incriminating location with the opposite sex has since been defending her act by saying it was an act done in other to get her mind off her husband's "dirty" nature.
In her mail to yours truly, she opened up to say how hard she had tried to change him all to her disappointment. When she discovered she was dying gradually day by day with the number of depression pills she had to swallow, she made up her mind she couldn't let him (her husband) kill her at least for the sake of her kids. And her resolution is why we are having this discussion today.
Now the whole family is pointing accusing fingers at her for partaking in such "disgraceful act", without any one directed to the husband who is also mad and threatening to dissolve the marriage, so many issues arising....
I would have asked you to advise her but since the deed has already been done, all she needs is divine intervention to save her marriage.
Now, what do u think about this issue? My questions are:,
Why is cheating by a man so acceptable but when done by a woman so abominable?
The woman believes she took the right steps to save a life (hers), what do my ethical philosophers have to say?
As for me, I'm not going to take sides cos I'm a woman and I know how it feels to have a flirty partner, I might not do what she did, but I sure know a means of relieving the pain would be very welcome by me.
But then, One reason I'm quick to forgive "the deeds" of a man is cos I always see them as the first sketch (Master copy) God made and so lack that little final touches (God is perfect, so He decided to fine tune the mastercopy to get us (women). No wonder we are so beautiful, smart, good cooks, emotional, strong enough to bare the pains of child birth, I could go on). You know what they say about experience ...., at least i've learnt from the number of times i've had to read through and correct this article to get it to be atleast presentable to you darlings. Forgive me I dont mean to belittle or insult anyone, I'm just saying, every woman is expected to possess attributes of a "super woman" to scale through the hurdles they (men) bring to us. Why is it said, "the woman makes the home?".
My advise to women undergoing similar or worse cases is after taking it to God, tighten ur belt and bring that man back home (Nigerian movie: Mr and Mrs, 2012, starring Nse Ikpe and Joe Benjamin). May God help us from the scars of a wounded heart brought upon us by our men ( who we certainly can't do without).

Girls and Six Packs!!!

My room mate will not let me sleep because of this 'six-packed' dude she just met.

WHAT SHOULD THIS FRIEND OF MINE DO OH

After spending 7 years already, for a 5-year course at the Federal university in Bauchi state of Nigeria due to the incessant (on and off) strikes by ASUU and in house ones too. She finally has a couple of months to go, but just before the joy of resuming after a strike that lasted over 7 months was over, a letter has been sent by the almighty Boko Haram to the said 'school' to inform them of their coming.

Tell me my brethren, what should she do o?
Lectures still holds though but with the student all sleeping and reading with one eyes open.
should she continue in faith that they wont come at least until she's done or leave and have her 7 years go in vain (that is if eventually they don't turn up).

MY COLLEGE BOYFRIEND (LOVE OR LUST?) dedicated to the great KNIGHTS of Bowen University

Great Knights!!! Can't believe it's been 4 years already.

Four years of fervent studies, prayers, dubbing of assignments, devotion, chapel, evening services (even though "many of us" do the stabbing thing sometimes **winks.,) paroling, dinner partying and last but certainly not the end on the list, recently fighting for what some termed "our right", smh (Thank God our GREAT alma mater arose 3 weeks later) LOL.

if you agree with me, a lot of good,  bad, and some ugly stuff has gone down, I for example (permit me to say I, cause it's actually a WE thing) lost someone special to me. A friend, brother, course mate and most of all my instigator for academic excellence, Toba Joshua. I'm just happy knowing God has you now Toba. You live on!!!

 Everyone if asked, would have something to talk about this past four years… But not withstanding the challenges faced. We are Knight, we stand tall. We came, we saw and we've conquered. Yaaaaayyy!!! I am so Proud to be a Knight.

Well enough of the 4 years speech thing, let me go straight to the point. As some of you would have noticed, the title of this article has nothing to do with all I've said so far. So just before someone begins to render  houseless, some innocent micro-organism from his/her gossip membrane, I'll just go ahead and hit the bottle on the head (forgive my razzness pls).

My college Boyfriend is about how many of us had the experience of dating in college (Bowen) and please, to set the records straight I'm talking to the girls, No homos pls. Lol. 

Before I proceed let me quickly state that I am a sucker for long term relationships. I believe it saves a lot of marital issues, you know the saying "Marry your friend" That’s why I love it when I see two people start to build something strong from college.

But unfortunately how many college relationships actually work out to the "aisle" level. I've watched a lot of fairytale-like relationships been born in Bowen and before I'm done applying my mascara, they're gone. Not like I'm some kinda olofofo sha but I'm like why? Why can't we have a four hundy guy do the 'one knee on the floor' thing just before he grads, okay let's say the age thing is a limiting factor, but that doesn’t hinder us from getting a couple of diamond rings glittering on our really nice manicured fingers na (guys I understand it's your pocket money we're talking about like this **hehehe). I met a couple of Bowen guys at munchies the other day and asked if they had found or maybe seen a potential "HER" and the responses I got made me decide to write this article…

I'm not going into the details of what their responses were, If memory serves me correctly, There's been an article on that already. But all I could gather from them was that we girls need to work on ourselves. A lot of girls make the mistake of believing that  by going out of our way to please a guy, we get him to lower his guard for freedom and hookup with us for something serious. But unfortunately, my research has shown me that the reverse is the case with this guys. As we gals are structured to think commitment is safety, guys on the other hand see it as the walls of a prison. Guys love to believe they worked to get you and won, please don’t deprive him of the illusion. Even though you were "Drunk in love" since the very first time you set eyes on him. And so in the words of Sharon Argov in her book "Why men marry Bitches" 'you have to make him chase you until you catch him'.

Is it that we people just don't just like the things of the lord abi is it because we end up doing the same thing whether we stab or not (dose off during the message)?

WHO REALLY IS A VIRGIN?

Please Guys and my ladies out there, help me answer this question. My room mates and I have been arguing. there are two schools of thought here, the first believe a virgin is all about someone who still has her hymen intact even though she might have done all the other do(ables) **winks** with the opposite sex.while the second school of thought where yours truly belongs believe Virginity is a thing of the mind. Cause really i know virgins who can work as sex position expert, this ladies i'm talking about didn't learn by reading o. they either see dirty movies, do the HEAD thing, receive some too, bla bla bla.The first school of thought seem to be winning the argument right now. But my point is does virginity not have to do with morals also. Abi guys would you like to get married to a so called virgin and have your friend tell you (one day) about how good a head giver she was to him in the past.Pardon me to use this example, would our Holy Mother of Christ (Virgin Mary) have been selected if she belonged to the category of virgins the first school of thought are talking about???Food for thought: Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well.
